I also listen in @ 6:00 PM and I listen to the Aussie staion River 94. I have listen to about 6 or 7 air-ings. I enjoyed it very much. Was quite emotional listening to the 1997 air-ing when Tim spoke of Micahel. Was touched by some of things Tim said. He loves and misses him so....but that goes without saying.

Was quite emotional listening to the 1997 air-ing when Tim spoke of Micahel. Was touched by some of things Tim said. Hi there, what kind of things did Tim say about Michael? Thanks, Deb. Here is the transcript and the link to listen its at the very end www.megaupload.com/?d=NCI9CMNGOkay this time we're looking at 1997, a time that myself and my band, INXS, would probably rather forget. We lost a great friend, singer, songwriter, frontman and founding member. He was a brother to all of us. We're talking, of course, about Michael Hutchence. We were in rehearsals for our first Australian tour in probably almost a decade. It was November and we were looking forward to getting back on the road at home in Australia for the final leg of our Elegantly Wasted world tour. Exactly what happened that night with Michael, we'll never know. And the tragic circumstances in my opinion are best left as, well, history. What is worth saying is that I lost a great friend that I'd known for over thirty years. We went through so much together and climbed every mountain we possibly could. I guess in hindsight some of those mountains were very, very, very big but we got to the top. Michael was an extremely creative man who had an amazing take on life. He also had incredible onstage persona, swagger, grace, call it what ya like. He was THE MAN..." It was very sweet, touching and to the point.

Thank you to the posters from Australia who mentioned this special radio program presented by Tim Farriss and to MINXS for posting the link and transcript. Over two years later, I was able to download the link and listen to Tim's tribute to Michael. Of course, there are tears listening to one brother memorialize another, but it's sweet to hear the love, admiration, and appreciation in Tim's voice for his brother, Michael.
