Hi
This section is for your questions and thoughts about the EPILOGUE of the JAM online feature, and concludes this online version of JUST A MAN.
A big "Thank You" to both Michael's sister Tina and Michael's mother Patricia for sharing this story with us.
"Just A Man" will be permanently available on this site so feel free to read it anytime, in its entirety or even if you just wish to read a certain section to remember Michael.
Please remember to tell others that this book is available online to read anytime, and help share the story of the legendary INXS frontman, Michael Hutchence, and let the truth be told.
Thank You Rickyrocks

Ricky, The home page is beautiful, as usual. You are truly a master. Regarding the epilogue, Michael's family is truly blessed in being able to hear his voice through his music. Kind of a mixed blessing though, being in the public eye has brought it's share of tears. My warmest thoughts and wishes to Michael's family. Gain strength in Michael's love.

That is just what we are doing - it has taken a long time and it is a daily ritual of giving thanks that he was with us for 37 years, and was so special that he was able to give so much to others and leave a strong, loving legacy.
I will always have an ache in my heart for his absence and the joys he missed by leaving so early. But I mostly choose to rejoice in the knowledge that he lived an extraordinary life. T.

Angeleyes - your photo/avatar is beautiful. it totally captures the Michael I remember from earlier years when I met him. His soft, yet piercing, brown eyes completely go through me. I love this photo.
Tina, I can't put into words how sympathetic I am towards you and your family and to all the fans who miss Mike the way I do. He will never ever be forgotten - that is for sure. There was something about this guy we loved to refer as "Hutch" that forever touched my soul. Your memories and personal experiences with him makes it all a little easier for me to deal with. Thank you for sharing with all of us your fabulous brother... Sonya xoxo

Michael had that way about him, that even if you never met him, you felt as if you knew him deep down in your soul. Tina, I would like to thank-you and your mother from the bottom of my heart. Reading your sometimes very personal and touching memories of Michael, I have felt that you have given all of us the gift of "Michael". I was lucky enough to see Michael perform many times through the years and looking back on those, they were gifts in themselves. But that was the performance side, thanks for giving us the personal side. His memory is cherished......Peace, Seline

Id like to say a big thankyou to Tina and to Patricia as well. Firstly for deciding to share with Michael's fans, personal and special moments in their lives. Also for allowing us into what happened in the days after michaels death. Id also like to thank Ricky for putting this site up. If it wasnt for Rhetts book I wouldnt of found this site, and I wouldnt of found all of these wonderful people from all over this world, that enjoy and appreciate Michael Hutchence. Reading JAM made me understand alot of things, once more thankyou Tina and Patricia. Michael was blessed to have you both. And I feel blessed to be here .
Thankyou

Thank you for allowing the world to read this book. Hopefully, over time, more and more people will find it online and begin to understand what really happened to Michael and his family. It is a story that needed to be told and still needs to be told. I am deeply touched by your words Tina. I have heard that ache in your heart but more importantly I have heard the utter joy in your voice when you speak of your darling brother. he was a special soul, totally unique and there will be no one like him. We miss him too Tina...you are not alone. Hopefully though, you have found friends here...we know we have in you. So much love to all The Hutchence family, for letting us in. ;D

Well Tina I would just like to echo all the voices here that are raised in respect of Michael's cherished memory. Thank you for giving of yourself and your personal memories of such a gifted and (judging by this website) much loved musician, poet, performer, brother, father and friend.
It has been both a joyous and sorrowful journey reading this book. For me, someone who never met or knew him, it was a gift to be able to curl up and experience a side of him that I would never have known otherwise. I just enjoyed Michael, his multi-faceted talent and his life were a gift to us all who delighted in his music, were tantalized by his performances, and moved by his words. I am sad for you and your family because you have all suffered so much, for so long because of his loss in so many ways. Though his light no longer shines for us...believe and know that it shines for you, for your family and most of all for Tiger...in heaven. My most heartfelt hope for you all is to that through sharing this with us, you will be freed to move past the hurt and feel joy, not because he was taken so young... but that he lived. Oh - how he lived!!
You now have a legion of fans standing beside you and cheering you on every step of the way in whatever you must face to resolve what you feel you must... to champion his legacy, preserve his music and maintain his dignity.
Girl, you go fight for what belongs to him, to you and to Tiger!!
God bless you and thank you ever so much for being so selfless in writing this book,
Marlene

I think out of all the chapters I've read, I do believe that this one has made me cry the hardest. I'm all stuffed up and my face looks all red and puffy. I miss him so much and I wish he were here with us. I am glad to have known him, even if it was just through magazines and his music. Hutch was a special person unlike anyone else I've ever known in the music business. May he be resting in peace. CK

Heartfelt thanks and respect to Patricia & Tina, for sharing their love for Michael with the rest of us, and giving us friends/fans a rare insight into the life of one of the world's greatest songwriters, singers, performers. He was a man - who shared his heart and soul with a world that seemed too cruel to understand, too selfish to see reason...apart from a group of people who could see (and still see) the beauty that his life was. At times I've thought that certain people are too good for this world, hence their leaving. Michael offered his talent and shared it with the world - he brought us all an immense amount of joy - his words made us think and feel, inspired us to find words of our own. For this, he will always be loved. And for letting us share that love with you, Tina & Patricia, we thank you. xxJ
