How sad that ya'lls time with Tiger was so short and spoiled. I wish you guys could have more time with her. I pray one day this happens for you. Tiger should be with her beautiful, loving Aussie family. This is such a crime. I can't believe there was so much BS going on with your visit to Hutch's villa. That was so unnecessary. CD's ex-wife speaks out finally and no one seems to look into his financial affairs. This REALLY angers me. The man steals from Hutch and no one seems to care! This is the biggest hint that could be given by someone who knows him and no one checks into it. I can't say anything more because I am really upset now.... CK

I admit I had to walk away from my computer after I read Chapter 16. I was so upset over the whole thing. I can only imagine how Tina and Patricia felt and still feel. I am so so sorry for all the pain you have endured and continue to endure.

I too found this chapter very hard to read, even moreso now that I've read the un-edited online version. I can only imagine the pain and bewilderment that Tina and Patricia must have felt during this time.
Did anyone else get the sense from this chapter that Belinda Brewin's behaviour was as erratic and illogical as Paula's? Not to mention offensive - I remember getting a similar impression after reading Gerry Agar's book, Belinda seemed at best, a bit dim, at worst, completely out of touch with reality. Colin Diamond certainly knew the right people to exert his twisted influence on. The whole sorry tale will never cease to astonish me.

I think for me, what is so difficult about reading the later chapters, is the kind of people that Michael had surrounded himself with towards the end of his life. They were either, mentally ill & manipulating, or opportunistic or just flat out criminals(CD)....and Tina and Patricia had to deal with these "psychos & criminals" during the most painful and difficult time in their lives. Most of us are lucky enough not to ever have had to deal with people like these. But if you ever have had someone in your life like this, you know these are never rational thinking people and they always have their own agendas. I feel for Tina and Patricia, all they wanted to do was have a funeral and say goodbye to their brother/son and insure Tiger's health and welfare for the future. Things that most normal people who have good moral values want for their nieces/granddaughters....but look at what they were up against???Poor Michael, his life must have been hell and always full of so much drama there towards the end....bless his heart

My heart goes out to TIna and Patricia, to have their time with Tiger so controlled and limited like that is a complete outrage! And they're family to Tiger!!! Unreal. And what on earth was Belinda thinking, just walking around like Tiger was her own child, trying to make all the rules. You know what they say, birds of a feather... no wonder she and Paula were such good friends.

Seline63 I was actually going to say the exact same thing. You are so right. I wonder if he was depressed or had a chemical imbalance already from his head injury. Many people around him said he was never the same after that. Then to surround himself with such, let's face it, bad people he must have felt so helpless. It seemed like he was onto Diamond and he just did not know what to do anymore to help himself. Who out of those psychos could he have turned to for support. I wish the band held him closer or notified his family that something was wrong.

You and me both Sharon!!
Poor Baby, he had so many people 'watching out for him' (or were they just watching that bottom line in the finance column?) but obviously nobody was listening to him. ONE call to the family; just one. T.

Tina, I don't know what to say, or where to begin, so that I don't sound cliche. Firstly, though, I admire and respect you for your strength in this turmoil. I have also recently been diagnosed with depression and put on meds for it. I have 2 small children and a marriage that is pretty much over. Everyday is a struggle. I think that's why I relate so well to Michael, in a strange way. (if that makes any sense). When I feel like I'm having "one of those days", I think of you and the unimaginable pain you and your family have suffered and continue to suffer, and then I look at my life, and think it's not so bad, afterall. I wish you all the best, and keep praying that it will all be made right, soon, and that there really is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I agree with you. Michael's "good friends" should have been there for him, (and should still be, Hello INXS!) One call.....

Thank you Aussie and Mishelle! It's good to know that I'm not "the only one", even though there are days when I feel like that.
I'm glad I found this message board, and look forward to making good friends, we already have 1 thing in common, our love for Michael!

Mikaela, you don't mention if you are in therapy - I would strongly advise it. Medication by itself is dangerous, I am against general practitioners prescribing anti depressants. I really feel for you, reach out to your friends and family and get busy. Make sure there is a support system such as certain people calling in to you. Thank you for sharing, it is hard to let people into your world when you are so down. It is a feeling of 'why bother' - don't let it happen to you. Speak to us here and get your phone contacts together.
All the best for the future, Tina

Thank you so much, Tina! I'm glad to have your support! Yes, I am in therapy, as well. I also don't believe in just taking anti-depressants. My husband left this past weekend, and now I'm in a position of starting over. I feel overwhelmed, not sure where to start, or what exactly I'm to do. I'm not necessarily scared of change, but I am scared for my kids' futures. Like for instance, where do I go from here, without messing up thier lives too much more?
I'm glad I can come to this site, though. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I feel like I can relate to Michael in some way, and it's also comforting to know that I have friends here, even though I've never met any of you in person!
Thank you all, again, and especially you Tina, for taking the time out of your busy day to offer me your support and advice!
Mikaela xxxxx
