I love this chapter, it tells of the excitement of a band on the brink of huge sucess. You can feel the vibe as Tina and her mother, Patricia talk about it.
These must have been fun times, mad times but above all thrilling. To see someone you love dearly achieve their hopes and dreams is always an incredible thing...
Happy Reading folks! ;D

The more i read the deeper the feelings. I am falling in love all over again I really can't express in words the way I feel reading this book. I don't think i have ever had such emotion when reading but this book is bringing them all out. From crying to laughing and everyhting in between.

I cant stop reading!!!! Put that book away... is all I can hear in this house... but I cant!! It is so, what is the word... so special to read all about his life... The proloque was just heartbreaking... I have cried my way throught... but now there is a smile on my face most of the pages... Anyway... guess what... I am off to bed... to read some more... but not too late tonight, I am still tired from going to sleep much too late last night (the cover doesnt help neither ) Petra

This chapter is especially good. Found it interesting about Michael's infedelity & his loathe of confrontation. I feel a bit sorry for Rhett ( I know, that sounds crazy : But they seem to always make him sound like the really bad seed. It almost gave me chills to read about Michael's lonliness & how he expects a lot out of people--including himself. Sounds like someone I "know". It also was shocking to read about how Debra told Tina that Michael said something about how he planned on not living past the age of 40.

This is a good chapter. I'm curious though if given a chance for some closure which us females so desparately need after a relationship ends, what would they have honestly said to him about how they felt about the way he left them? I bet that would be an interesting book in itself. Momma

You know Lynne, I only know of one who actually called him on it - Virginia Hey. She wrote letters to him which he kept in his Hong Kong lockup. She was scathing in her assessment of the situation - but Virginia is a very intelligent, direct, lady and he had a lot of respect for her. He just didn't like to hurt people and definately had trouble ending his relationships - but somehow kept the friendship even after the romance was over. It was hard to stay mad at Michael. T.

Yes, It seems girlfriends "overlapped" but always remained friends with him. I find that so special . I don't think that happens alot in relationships.

I was wondering if Tina, still has contact with some of michael's old girlfriends? Like Michele for one. He certainly had left a few broken hearts, but he was a special man to be able to continue to have these loves continue as special friendships. How wonderful it would of been to have been loved by such a loving man. I know in my teenage years i had such a crush on him, and i guess i always will have. So enjoying reading this book. Aussie
