I just finished this chapter. Ive been glued to this computer for 2 days reading.....WOW.....i didnt have a clue. I can see how Michael didnt take notice of Paula's manipulations....he was naive about some things it seems. A gentle kind souls like him dont see the evil in others and im sure his legal and illegal meds helped distort his thinking. I must say from experience, when taking the drug correctly and under supervision, it can do wonders.
When i read that chapter....i thought "how ghetto fabulous she was". He wanted to run as far away as possible. What a sad conculsion for him.

I liked all the chapters in JAM, but this one was particularly interesting to read because nobody had ever openly talked about how unwell Paula was. I still can remember Paula on 60 minutes telling the interviewer how Michael's death wasn't suicide because he'd never want to leave Tiger, then later in the interview she was holding Tiger while confessing that she tried to kill herself to be with Michael? I can't believe the media never played on all the weird stuff she said/did, considering they give everyone else such a hard time.
